These are the projects we made in my January club meeting and my church group meeting. They all loved the meer cats! The Gang’s All Meer is a set you can earn for free with a $50 purchase (before tax/shipping). And there are so many other great items in the SAB mini catalog this year!
Our second card was a gorgeous card I found and CASEd because I wanted to use a set that we all fell in love with and had to have, but since our big projects were done this past summer, we’ve moved on to newer things and forgot about this beauty. I decided to challenge myself to offer my Hostess Club projects using current sets we all loved but haven’t seen in a while. So I found this on Jamie’s blog. I changed it a bit from her directions and cut my white base down a 1/4 inch all around so I could mount it on a regular A2 size card base. We colored the flowers with Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green and Soft Suede blends.
Notice the sentiment is stamped twice? That was a happy accident and many of my customers wanted to do that, too. Who’d ‘a’ thunk? LOL MY Mango Melody ink pad was too dry to stamp a complete image, so I stamped it again in Coastal Cabana.
My church group completed this final card using some retired DSP from last year’s stash. I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest (LOVE this site) but I can’t find it to give her credit! Once I find it, I’ll come back to let you know.
Notice the butterfly punch – it was inked in the center with the Gorgeous Grape ink and white on the sides. This is an awesome technique I saw Jennifer McGuire show in one of her videos. It sure makes that little butterfly pop!
Thanks for stopping in! I hope you enjoyed these projects as much as my stampers.
