Sunflowers

Take a look at this gorgeous Sunflower set! The stamps are stunning images of a pencil drawing style Sunflower. Then add the intricate dies and sweet foliage die cuts and this is a surprisingly quick yet amazing card!

Take note of the brown center die – this cuts the shape to fit perfectly into the intricate flower die. I added a bit of stamping to the cut piece by inking up the center of the smaller flower stamp in the set and then laying the die cut piece on top of the inked stamp and pressing down. This gives the center it’s much-needed dimension on this flower.

I used Crushed Curry, Soft Suede and Old Olive card stock to make the flower. The background is a piece of retired wood grain paper, but you can get the new, stunning wood grain paper called In Good Taste which has so many beautiful natural designs. I finished the card with a bit of linen thread for a rustic bow.
