July NC Demos Blog Hop – Summer Lovin’

This month’s blog hop with the NC Demos should feature a project that makes you think of Summer. The NC Demos is a large group of demonstrators that live in North Carolina. I have been a part of this group since I started with SU!, 15 years ago. We’ve grown from a Yahoo Group into Facebook and by hundreds of demos!

This month, the challenge was to create a project that makes you think of Summer, so I chose some bright colors and pineapple. Pineapples are one of my favorite fruits and I love anything pineapple flavored, especially pina coladas or any other beachy tropical adult beverage. Pineapples and beaches and flamingos – how much more summer can you get? Behold – pineapples and bright, hot pink!

This project was one of the projects my host club made this month. I found the directions from Dawn Griffith and it’s a few years old, but I loved how cute the design was. I love this new set, Cute Fruit! It’s in the Beginner’s Brochure only and is quite the hidden gem!

It opens again to reveal the card where you can write your message! How adorable is this card and those stinkin’ cute pineapples?! With mustaches! GAH!

I created another card with the same products using the Daisy Lane set while you wait for the Cute Fruit set to be delivered to your door. You’re getting it, right?!

So I didn’t have any flamingos to add to these sweet pineapples but I did have that gorgeous new hot pink, Magenta Madness. I’m not usually a pink fan, but this color really is beautiful and so bright and cheerful.
